How We Choose What To Sell
There are thousands of pet products available to a Malaysian retailer, and most of them are the same three factories with different labels. We could list all of it. Instead we carry a few hundred items we can actually speak for, because a customer asking which food to buy deserves an answer, not a search box.
The process is unglamorous. New products come in as samples first. Food gets checked against the ingredient panel, the protein source and the feeding guide, and where it makes sense it goes to our own animals before anything else. Toys get handed to the least gentle dog we know. Bowls, bins and litter trays get used in a real house for a few weeks, because that is where you find out a lid does not seal or a feeder skids across tiles.
We also pay attention to what happens after the sale. Every complaint gets logged against the product, not filed away. Two complaints of the same kind and the item comes off the site, no matter how well it moves. That has cost us some good sellers over the years, and we would do it again, because the alternative is a shelf you cannot trust.
Price matters, but it is the last filter, not the first. Cheap food that an animal will not finish is expensive. A toy destroyed in an afternoon is expensive. We would rather show you the item that lasts and explain why it costs a little more.
